Take(n) Space
Saturday Sept. 23, 7PM-Midnight
My Fair Ladies Ethical Emporium, 48 Prince St.

In "A Room of One's Own", writer Virginia Woolf proposed a radical idea that women artists require a space of their own to create - 100 years later this is still a radical concept. TAKE(N) SPACE, is a multidisciplinary project that broadens the discussion and asks: what spaces do women living with disabilities, indigenous women and women of colour occupy today?
Pamela Johnson is an artist with a background in community theatre, improv, writing and visual art. She weaves social justice into her art as an extension of her work as an educator in women's leadership. Pamela is a former board member and volunteer for community based art projects and festivals.
