L'Ombre de la Lumière
Saturday Sept. 23, 7PM-Midnight
NDCSI, convent lawn, 37 Nepean St.

A chime tree is a tree-like structure usually made of wood and metal from which are hung wind chimes, bells, gongs, and noise makers. L'OMBRE DE LA LUMIÈRE is an interactive musical experiment that explores the structure of the dome and the spider web. Everyone is welcome to join in the experiment by making sounds or to just listen.
Coyote Fletcher has been building unique musical instruments known as 'chime trees' since joining the Fletcher Valve Drummers the 90's in Ontario. In 2005, Coyote and the Fletchers parted ways. They embarked on an international tour and Coyote moved to Cape Breton Island where he continues to build chime trees.
